Professor Donald B. Dingwell appointed to the Board of the Academia Europaea.

Following a nomination by the Chairs of the Natural Science Divisions of the Academy, the Board of the Academia Europaea has invited Prof. Donald B. Dingwell to join the Board as a member. Prof. Dingwell will work collegially with the rest of the Board in the interests of the Academy providing insights and perspectives from the natural sciences.
The Academia Europaea is Europe´s Academy of Arts and Sciences. Prof. Dingwell, is a member of the Academia Europaea since 2007 and has been chair of the section of Earth and Cosmic Sciences since 2008. He recently served as a member of the Search Committee for the next President of the Academia Europaea.
